Enchanted Roads Photography

There's a moment on every road trip — somewhere between the last familiar landmark and wherever you're headed — when the world opens up and reminds you why you left home in the first place. That moment is why I picked up a camera nearly 30 years ago, and it's why I haven't put one down since. I'm Eric, and I'm a self-taught photographer based in the Land of Enchantment — New Mexico, where the skies run wide and the light does things you simply have to photograph to believe. The name Enchanted Roads Photography is a love letter to two things that have shaped everything I do: the magic of this place I call home, and the irresistible pull of the open road. Travel has been my greatest teacher. Long before I ever read a photography book or studied technique, I was learning by doing — chasing the right angle, waiting on the right light, and making plenty of beautiful mistakes along the way. That curiosity has taken me to breathtaking landscapes and remarkable cities, and it's sharpened my eye for the two subjects that captivate me most: architecture and the natural world. I'm drawn to the way a building's lines catch the afternoon sun, and equally to the way a desert horizon stretches into forever. Both ask you to stop, breathe, and really look. Nearly three decades in, photography still feels like discovery. Every journey brings a new frame, a new perspective, a new road worth getting a little lost on. I'm so glad you found this one.
